collaborate with others and track important metrics out of the box.
After using many Kanban tools such as Redmine, Agilefant, JIRA and Leankit a colleague of me recommended to me Kanbanize so I have tried it for a while and I have to admit that is quite good.
while and I have to admit that is quite good.
Kanbanize is plenty of powerful features such as:
1. Visualize your workflow: Visualizing important pieces of information helps people process it more efficiently.
2. Limit your work in progress: It takes up to seventeen times more to complete three complex tasks in parallel, rather than one by one.
3. Measure and analyze: Every experienced manager knows that constant improvement is the key to long-term success.
The Kanban board is the most effective way to visualize your workflow and enable your team to get control over what is to be done and what is currently being worked on.
Imagine a whiteboard with a bunch of sticky notes living inside your browser. That’s what we do with our super-flexible Kanban cards. You just create them and naturally
drag them across the board to indicate their progress.
We believe that fast and seamless collaboration between people is the key to building high-performance teams. We save time and make things just run unattended while
still being tracked and monitored.
How do you make a system better? The first step you need to measure how good or bad you are and then start acting on the data. Kanbanize will point you to the actual
bottleneck of your system and will help you solve it.
Kanbanize is very simple but powerful tool which has three main advantages:
First of all, its blog which explains every concept related to Kanban.
Secondly, it has a great API which allows you to gain advantage by using the Kanbanize Restful API
Last but not least, you can enjoy of mobile version on iOS and Android (there are some restrictions on old version of smartphone such as Samsung SII which I have).
One of the most important concept in Kanban is WIP.
What’s a WIP limit?
WIP limits or Work-In-Progress limits, in the context of Kanban, stand for the maximum amount of work items a given phase or the whole workflow can hold.
