First of all, I strongly recommend to use physical board for using Kanban and/or Scrum. However, if you have to deal with remote Product Owners, stakeholders or team members you have to think about a virtual tool to manage your projects.
As Agile Coach many clients request my recommendation for one Agile management tool because of that I like to investigate them.
Today I am presenting you “The Agile Nomad” that I found on Linkedin posted by another Agile Coach.
The Agile Nomad is a mobile app specifically designed for agile teams that are seeking to unleash effectiveness and creativity through mobility. The first mobile app available exclusively for agile teams that aim for a small footprint. The Agile Nomad was born and raised by Incrementor in New York City.
Made for iOS
100% mobile and 100% iOS. The Agile Nomad integrates with your iPad capabilities to the fullest extend. This enables agile teams to collaborate, communicate and be more creative.
Chat with other agile nomads on your team or call them via FaceTime. The app tells them automatically which item you would like to discuss.
The Agile Nomad has all the capabilities to be effective with Scrum, a very popular and successful agile process. We support the entire range of product backlog management, sprint planning, task boards, progress charts etc. so that teams can be successful with Agile.
Your project is stored and shared with team members via state-of-the-art iCloud technology. Updates are immediate and distributed to the other agile nomads on your team
To conclude, the best information radiator for me is the physical board but if you need to communicate with other countries or work with distributed teams, Agile Nomad is a good tool.
